Last week, four J3 representatives attended Autodesk University in Las Vegas to learn the latest advances in technology in the engineering industry. They attended various sessions that included information on analysis software, CAD, BIM, IT, and knowledge management. This three day long conference provided insight to some of the most recent innovations in Autodesk software, structural analysis, FEA and new workflow methods. An interesting highlight included a preview of the latest analysis package from Autodesk called React Structures.
The conference featured over 10,000 design, engineering, and manufacturing professionals and is the world’s largest conference of Autodesk software users. It provided J3 with numerous opportunities to learn and network with others in the engineering industry. In addition, it allows us to continuously expand our knowledge and implement new technologies into our workflow process.
